About Teenage Growth and Development
Adolescence is a time of rapid physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth. This resource helps to break down the kinds of changes parents/caregivers can expect so that all (parents and youth) can make it through this life stage. The guide, divided for ages 11-14 and 15-17, shares quick acts on physical changes, intellectual developments, and social or emotional developments. Plus tips and resources.
Our resources for parents/caregivers are free to download. While this resource is helpful for parents and caregivers, it is in need of an update and revisions. Please consider supporting the Adolescent Health Working Group with a donation to ensure we can continue updating resources for providers, parents, and young people.
All of our present resources serve as handouts with pages of information and tips. We are actively in the process of updating our resources. Note that our resources for parents/caregivers are not meant for direct youth consumption. However, these do contain resources for parents/caregivers to facilitate conversations with youth and their providers.
